After a few more clicks, I found out there's another 3d search engine: www.spacetime.com
First of all, this works now. I downloaded it, it's really really cool. I did find a few bugs, but it's understandable. So, prepare for the next era of browsing...

Well, this looks just like a very fancy tabs... Actually the "looking at only one page at a time" seems to be a limitation of our brain and vision, not of the browser...

@michael - basically I think it (the program) overreacted a bit, but - the possibility to see the searched sites by default - that is a big plus to me. Perhaps this could be a different way to present them. Until then, I'll use spacetime ;)
